中国でのモダンダンス公演をきっかけに、中国の少数民族の方々を訪ね歩き
「自分の踊り」探しの旅を始める。　シルクロード、パキスタンを経てインドに渡り、
Ｏdissi への導きを確認する。　　インド・ロナバラＫＡＩＶＬＹＡＤＨＡＭＡにてヨーガを修養。
インド屈指の Ｏdissi 　Ｄancer故プロティマ・ガウリ女史（ケルカルチャラン氏の弟子）との運命的な出会いにより、バンガロール郊外のＮＲＩＴＹＡＧＲＡＭで、学ぶ。　
　伝統的な古典舞踊の「型」のもつ神聖さと、自発的な生命の躍動を感じ、みなの命の「愛の花」が咲くこと＝世界平和を意識して踊っている。

**ESRAJ　Player　　Mr. Naoki Tomioka　紹介
幼少のころよりギターを始め、１９８８年シタールと出会う。
　　　以降、毎年、渡印しカルカッタにて、カシナス・ムガジーに師事。
　　　現在、RAGAMALA(奈良)にて、インド音楽教室を開催。

Folk and tribal music, and dance are an integral feature of Orissan culture. Chhau Dance is one of the most dynamic traditional dance forms and is a volatile, and colourful reflection of tales of war and glorious battles. Danda Nata is another acrobatic dance form and the Chaiti Ghoda is a festival dance festival of the fishing folk. But the real flavour of dancing that can intrigue anyone's interest is the Orissan classical dance-form, the Odissi Dance.
